Public Beach Access to be Expanded at Sevan
The government today allocated another 5.5 hectares of Sevan shoreline for public bathing.
Last year, RA President Sargsyan instructed the government to launch a program where certain sections of the Sevan shoreline would be free and accessible to the public.
It seems that public demand surpassed the beachfront so designated.
Surprisingly, in the past, those visiting Sevan to have a cool dip had to pay for access to the best sections of the shoreline.
