Pashinyan Says Digitilization of Armenia's Economy Remains Priority

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, addressing the plenary session of the  Digital Partnership in the New Reality forum in Almaty, Kazakhstan today, said developing Armenia’s digital economy remains a priority for his administration.

“The turnover of Armenia’s IT sector in 2022 increased by more than 50%, and the share of the information technology and communications sector in Armenia's GDP is consistently growing. For our part, we provide sector-specific state support to IT business. Last year, more than 1,000 startups received significant tax breaks,” Pashinyan said.

“He said his administration has launched a five-year strategy to digitalize the country’s economy.
