Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by telephone today about an Armenian disaster rescue team set to fly to southern Turkey, the site of yesterday’s devasting earthquake.

Pashinyan, according to his office, conveyed his condolences to Erdoğan and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the earthquake.

Erdoğan thanked Pashinyan for reaching out to Turkey in its time of need, stressing such solidarity will go a long way in future normalization talks between Yerevan and Ankara.
