Yerevan's Malatya Market Reopens for Business
Yerevan’s Malatya market, which was shut down on February 1 because of fire safety violations, can reopen for business.
The Yerevan Municipality reports the fire safety violations have been fixed and a deadline to correct other violations at the market has been issued.
The market’s closure incensed hundreds of shop owners who demanded that the municipality provide another site for their businesses.
