
Khandanyan Elected Head of Armenian Parliament's Foreign Relations Committee
The Armenian parliament today elected Civil Contract faction MP Sargis Khandanyan to head its Standing Committee on Foreign Relations.
All sixty-eight votes in favor of Khandanyan came from Civil Contract MPs. Opposition MP boycotted the session.
Khandanyan holds a BA in Political Science from Yerevan State University. He also graduated from University College London (UCL) with a Digital Anthropology MS degree.
Khandanyan served as PM Nikol Pashinyan’s Deputy Chief of Staff (2018-2019).
