The Artsakh government has launched a fundraiser to help Syrian-Armenians impacted by this week’s devasting earthquake that rocked parts of southern Turkey and northwest Syria.  

“The eyes of our compatriots living in different parts of the world are now focused on the Armenian community of Syria, which is in dire straits as a result of the earthquake,” reads an Artsakh government press release.

The government has called on citizens to “lend a helping hand to our compatriots affected by the natural disaster.”
