Armenian Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan, now in the UAE on a working visit, attended the opening ceremony of the International Defense Exhibition (IDEX) and its naval version NAVDEX.

Some 1,350 companies are displaying their military wares at the exhibition, one of the most important defense exhibitions in the world and the largest in the region.

Papikyan, according to his office, toured the exhibition’s various booths and met with heads of major military production companies.

Papikyan also visited the Armenian pavilion, which, according to the exhibition’s website, includes the Ministry of High-Tech Industry and twenty-one private companies.
