
Pashinyan, EU's Toivo Klaar Meet in Yerevan
Armenian PMNikol Pashinyan today, in Yerevan, met with Toivo Klaar, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia.
Pashinyan, according to his office, praised the cooperation between Armenia and the European Union and noted with satisfaction that institutional reforms are being implemented in Armenia with the support of the EU. Pashinyan emphasized the importance of the activities of the EU civilian mission in Armenia, which will contribute to stability and peace in the region.
The two referred to the consequences of the humanitarian, environmental and energy crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh resulted by Azerbaijan's illegal blockade of the Lachin Corridor. Pashinyan emphasized the importance of the resolution adopted by the European Parliament regarding the unblocking of the Lachin Corridor.
The two exchanged ideas on the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
