
Armenia-Azerbaijan Border Skirmish Leaves Dead, Injured
Armenian troops today responded to Azerbaijani gunfire near the Syunik village of Tegh, not far from the border with Azerbaijan.
The Armenian Defense Ministry reports an unspecified number of killed and wounded.
The ministry says Azerbaijani troops opened fire on Armenian soldiers fortifying their positions.
On March 30, Azerbaijani troops crossed into Armenia near Tegh claiming the area as Azerbaijani territory.
Update: The ministry reports that four Armenian soldiers were killed and six wounded in today's incident.
