
Russian, Armenian Foreign Ministers Meet
The Foreign Ministers of Russia and Armenia, Sergey Lavrov and Ararat Mirzoyan, met today in Samarkand (Uzbekistan) on the sidelines of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers session.
No details on what the two discussed has yet been reported by either ministry.
Update: The ministers, according to Mirzoyan’s office, discussed the normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, border demarcation and border security, unblocking of all economic and transport links in the region, and the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
They also emphasized the need to reopen the Lachin Corridor.
