The Azerbaijani press reports that the Azerbaijani “eco-activists” who have blocked a section of the Lachin Corridor for over four months have announced they will temporarily halt their protest action.

The Azerbaijani Press Agency (APA) reports that the activists made the announcement after meeting with an Azerbaijani regional official.

The APA writes that the activists had received repeated calls from Azerbaijani state representatives to review their protest following Azerbaijan’s recent installation of a checkpoint along a section of the Lachin Corridor closer to Armenia.
