Armenian, U.S. Ambassadors to Russia Meet in Moscow
Armenian Ambassador to Russia Vagharshak Harutyunyan and U.S. Ambassador to Russia Lynne Tracy met yesterday in Moscow and discussed the establishment of stability in the South Caucasus, relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, emphasizing the unconditional implementation of the provisions of the Trilateral Declaration of November 9, 2020.
Harutyunyan, according to his office, referred to the situation created in the region because of Azerbaijan's aggression against the sovereign territory of Armenia, as well as the crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh, emphasizing that the illegal blockade of the Lachin Corridor grossly contradicts the Tripartite Declaration.
The two emphasized the importance of this week’s talks in the U.S. between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
