Armenian, Russian, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers to Meet in Moscow

The foreign ministers of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan will meet in Moscow on May 19 for normalization talks, this according to Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova.

Zakharova, during a press briefing today, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will also hold separate talks with Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov.

“We hope that the upcoming contacts will contribute to the progress of Baku and Yerevan towards the settlement of controversial issues, the search for mutually acceptable solutions and, in general, the increase of trust between the parties, the strengthening of stability in the South Caucasus," Zakharova said.

This will be the second meeting between Mirzoyan and Bayramov this month. The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan met in the U.S. this month for normalization talks hosted by Washington D.C.
