Pashinyan, PACE Official Discuss Karabakh Humanitarian Crisis

Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and Paul Gavan, First Deputy Chairman of the PACE Committee on Migration, Refugees and Displaced Persons, met today in Yerevan and discussed the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh due to Azerbaijan’s continued blockade of the Lachin Corridor.

Pashinyan, according to his office, told Gavan that Baku has stopped gas and electricity supplies from Armenia to Nagorno-Karabakh, and food is transported only via Russia peacekeepers.

Noting that all this is part of Baku’s goal to carry out ethnic cleansing and genocide in Nagorno-Karabakh, Pashinyan emphasized the need for an adequate response of the international community to what is happening.
