Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and EU Council President Charles Michel met in Brussels today prior to a meeting between Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, to be presided by Michel.

Pashinyan and Aliyev will continue their talks to normalize relations between their two countries.

Pashinyan posted the above video showing Michel welcoming him to the talks.

Pashinyan is said to have delivered a letter to Michel, written by Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan, calling on the heads of  various international institutions to take all necessary measures to immediately reopen the Lachin Corridor and thus end Baku’s blockade of Karabakh. Harutyunyan’s letter is also addressed to Pashinyan.
