The Artsakh government has set restrictions on the amount of cash people can withdraw from their bank accounts.

The country’s Ministry of Finance and Economy, in a statement today, says cash reserves are needed to pay salaries and pensions and to implement social support programs.

The statement doesn’t specify the amount of cash that can be withdrawn.
