The Armenian Defense Ministry today reported the death of serviceman Granik Khnkoyan, after being shot in as yet unknown circumstances.

This is the second death of an Armenian soldier in two days.

Earlier today, the ministry reported the death of conscript soldier Zhora Karapetyan, alleging he committed suicide.

Two soldiers serving in Karapetyan's unit have been arrested on suspicion of "inciting" him to commit suicide. What the two are alleged to have done remains unspecified.
