$4.2 Million Stolen from Armenian Bank's ATMs

Armenia’s Investigative Committee reports that it has uncovered the theft of 1.609 billion AMD (around US$4.2 million) from ATMs operated by a commercial bank in the country.

The IC doesn’t name the bank.

The IC claims that bank staffers, in cahoots with employees of the Armenia Collection Service CJSC, carried out 160 ATM robberies during April-November 2021.

The money, according to the IC, was used to purchase property in a money laundering scheme.

The case has been sent to the courts for prosecution.

TRUTH ARMENIAN
PATHETIC. ANOTHER STORY OF CORRUPTION, ROBBERY, AND FRAUD IN THE FIRST CHRISTIAN NATION. AT A TIME WHERE ARMENIANS NEED TO BE ETHICAL, STRONG, UNITED, AND BUILD THE ECONOMY SO THEY CAN REINVEST THE MONEY INTO ARMENIA'S INFRASTRUCTURE, SCHOOLS, HOSPITALS, ROADS, COMMUNICATIONS, MILITARY, HOUSING AND MORE, THESE GODLESS BASTARDS DECIDE TO CREATE MORE CHAOS, INSTABILITY, AND WEAKNESS. ARMENIA IS ALREADY WEAK AND POOR. THROW THESE SCUM BAGS IN JAIL AND THROW AWAY THE KEY.
