Armenia’s Defense Ministry has launched an investigation into the gunshot deaths of two Armenian soldiers on August 27.

Artyom Haykazyan and Armen Khachatryan were mortally wounded in as yet unknown circumstances while serving at an Armenian military base.

Update: Armenia’s Investigative Committee (IC) later reported that Haykazyan shot Khachatryan and then turned the gun on himself. The IC says the incident was personal in nature.
