Erdoğan Proposes Four-Way Karabakh Meeting
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, during a press conference in Istanbul today before flying to the U.S., said he’s requested a meeting with the leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Erdoğan was responding to a reporter’s question regarding the recent escalation of tensions over Nagorno Karabakh.
“We propose a four-way meeting with the participation of Mr. Putin, Mr. Aliyev, me, and Pashinyan, who are currently dealing with these problems, not those leaders who have nothing to do with the processes,” he said, adding that none have yet responded.
Erdoğan said he’ll raise the issue with Ilham Aliyev.
