Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan today met with members of delegation headed by Michael Roth, who chairs the German Bundestag’s Foreign Affairs Committee.

Roth, according to Simonyan’s office, said they did not take sufficient steps to prevent recent Azerbaijani aggression against the population of Nagorno-Karabakh.

The parties also stressed the need for expanding relations between their legislatures and discussed the need to apply possible sanctions against Azerbaijan.
