
Armenian Foreign Minister, Canadian Legislator Stress Need to Expand Bilateral Cooperation
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Leo Housakos, a member of the Canadian Senate, met in Yerevan today and discussed the political dialogue agenda between the two countries and the need to expand bilateral cooperation to support democratic reforms in Armenia.
During the meeting, according to Mirzoyan’s office, the sides exchanged views on the security situation in and around the South Caucasus.
Mirzoyan touched upon the existing challenges facing Armenia, its efforts to establish stability in the region, to normalize relations with Azerbaijan, and Armenian government steps to address the needs and rights of Armenians forcibly displaced from Nagorno Karabakh.
