Mirzoyan, Borrell Discuss Expanding Armenia-EU Ties
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell met yesterday on the sidelines of the 30th OSCE Ministerial Council meeting in Skopje, North Macedonia, and discussed expanding ties between Yerevan and the EU.
Mirzoyan, according to his office, emphasized the importance of diplomatic efforts aimed at deterring any aspirations towards the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Armenia, implementing regional inclusive programs and establishing lasting stability.
In this context, Mirzoyan presented the Armenian government’s Crossroads of Peace initiative.
The sides touched upon the steps taken towards addressing the needs and rights of the more than 100,000 people forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh.
