Armenian, Russian Foreign Ministers Meet
The foreign ministers of Armenia and Russia (Ararat Mirzoyan, Sergey Lavrov) met today on the sidelines of the 30th OSCE Ministerial Council meeting in Skopje, North Macedonia, and discussed bilateral and regional matters.
Mirzoyan’s office issued a statement that the Armenian foreign minister reiterated Yerevan’s position regarding Moscow’s recent policies towards Armenia.
The statement doesn’t provide further details.
Relations between the two countries have strained of late with each side. Yerevan has accused Moscow of not fulfilling various treaty obligations, while Russia has expressed displeasure over Armenia's increased overtures to the West.
