Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan today attended the CIS Council of Heads of Governments’ session in Moscow.

Grigoryan, according to his office, emphasized cooperation in the field of culture and noted that in 2024 the Armenian city of Gyumri will receive the honorary status of the CIS sports capital.

Grigoryan also noted that during the 18th session of the Intergovernmental Committee of the UNESCO Convention "On the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage", a decision was made to include Gyumri's blacksmithing tradition in UNESCO's list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
