
Court Grants Artsakh Army Colonel House Arrest Prior to Trial
An Armenian court has approved a petition to replace the detention order for Artsakh Defense Army Colonel Norayr Aslanyan who has spent the last six months in jail on charges of illegally trafficking arms and ammunition.
Aslanyan, according to his defense team, will be placed under house arrest prior to the start of a trial.
Aslanyan was appointed deputy head of the security department in the staff of the President of the Republic of Artsakh in 2021.
