A statue of film director and screenwriter Sergey Parajanov was unveiled today at Yerevan’s Cinema House to commemorate the artist’s 100th birthday.
Events marking the anniversary will be held throughout Armenia in 2024.
Parajanov, who was born in Tbilisi and died in Yerevan in 1990, is buried at the Komitas Pantheon in the Armenian capital.
