Newly appointed Greek Ambassador to Armenia Christos Sofianapoulos, during a meeting today in Yerevan with Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan, said Athens is ready to support Armenia in establishing regional peace.

The two, according to Simonyan’s office, discussed the trilateral format of Armenia-Greece-Cyprus cooperation and bilateral relations.

Simonyan emphasized the importance of ongoing close cooperation of the representatives of the two parliaments in various international parliamentary organizations.
