
Patriarch Mashalyan in Armenia for Supreme Spiritual Council Meeting
Archbishop Sahag Mashalyan, Patriarch of the Constantinople See of the Armenian Apostolic Church, arrived in Armenia today to attend a meeting of the Supreme Spiritual Council, the highest executive body of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
During the meeting, the issues related to developments in Armenia and Artsakh, overcoming the challenges faced by forcibly displaced Armenians from Artsakh, and preserving the spiritual and cultural heritage of Artsakh will be discussed.
Attendees will discuss the re-consecration of the Etchmiadzin Mother Cathedral and the blessing of the Holy Miuron (Chrism).
Various ecclesiastical, diocesan, educational issues are also included in the agenda.
