Armenian President Visits Armenian Apostolic Diocese in Baghdad

Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan today visited the Armenian Apostolic Diocese in Baghdad and laid a wreath at the memorial to the victims of the 1915 Armenian Genocide.

Bishop Oshagan Gulgulian, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Iraq, escorted Khachaturyan during the tour of the diocese.

Khachaturyan arrived in Baghdad on February 26 and met with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani today.
