Today's Pashinyan, Putin Meeting Necessary, Says Kremlin Spokesman
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov believes that today’s meeting in Moscow of Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin is necessary to iron out disagreements between the two countries.
"The meeting is necessary and expected for both sides," Peskov said according to TASS.
Regarding Armenia’s possible exit from the Moscow-backed Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Peskov said member countries enjoy an increase in their gross domestic product as a result.
“It is in the interests of all participating countries to continue developing the EAEU,” Peskov said.
