Composer, artist and activist Serj Tankian, best known for his role as the lead singer of System of A Down, has written a memoir (Down With The System) in which he relates how his childhood in war-torn Lebanon and the stories he heard about the 1915 Armenian Genocide shaped his music and his political activism.
