Flooding in Armenia's Lori Province: One Dead
Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan today went to the north of Armenia where flooding of the Debed River took the life of one citizen whose car fell into the water along a collapsed section of the M6 Highway.
The country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs reports that seventy Dzoraget village residents have been evacuated for safety reasons.
Emergency crews have been rushed to the area.
The river originates in Armenia’s Lori Province and flows north into Georgia.
Update: At least three people died and two others went missing Sunday according to official sources.
