U.S. Calls on Yerevan, Baku to Make “Tough Compromises”
U.S. State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller called on Armenia and Azerbaijan to make “some difficult choices and tough compromises” to finalize a peace deal.
Miller, during a July 15 press briefing, said, “A peace agreement between those countries would mean so much for those countries and it would mean so much for the region – for peace, stability, for security in the region.”
He said the U.S. will continue to push the two countries to resolve ongoing differences and reach an agreement.
