Juventus to Open Football Academy in Armenia

The Armenian government has given the green light to open a football academy in Yerevan affiliated with the Italian Juventus football club.

The decision follows Juventus’ announcement in April 2024 of its intention to open a football academy in Armenia, marking a significant investment in the development of youth football in the country.

Next Gen Sports LLC will be granted the right to use the buildings at 20/4 Avan Acharyan Street for a period of twenty-five years, where the company will establish a football academy in cooperation with the world-famous Juventus club

Next Gen Sports LLC is committed to investing AMD 1.2 billion ($3.1M) within five years.

Part of the project entails privatizing 100% of the shares of the Hrazdan Sports Complex CJSC, which includes the reserve field adjacent to the main stadium
