
Armenian Security Chief, Japanese State Foreign Minster Discuss Cooperation Prospects
Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan and State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan Yoshifumi Tsuge met today in Tokyo and discussed prospects for expanding relations between the two countries.
Grigoryan, according to his office, described the security situation in the South Caucasus and stressed the role of the Armenian government’s Crossroads of Peace project in this regard.
Regarding Japan-Armenia relations, Tsuge stated that Armenia is an important partner in maintaining and strengthening a free and open international order based on the rule of law and welcomed Armenia's participation in next year's Osaka-Kansai Expo.
The expo’s theme is Designing Future Society for Our Lives.
