Armenia’s Wings of Tatev Cable Car Nominated as “World’s Best”

Armenia’s Wings of Tatev cable car is one of the eight such attractions nominated for the best in its class by the World Travel Awards (WTA) organization.

The Armenian aerial tramway, in the country’s Syunik Province, spans 5.7 kilometers and was opened in 2010.

It is the longest reversible aerial tramway built in only one section and holds the record for "Longest non-stop double track cable car".

Wings of Tatev won the WTA’s “World’s Leading Cable Car Ride” award in 2021 and 2023.
