Armenia Chairs MNRA Conference in Yerevan
Armenia, represented by the Television and Radio Commission, chaired the 23rd annual conference of the Mediterranean Network of Regulatory Authorities (MNRA) that ended yesterday in Yerevan.
Key topics of the conference were the use of artificial intelligence, the principles of regulation of audiovisual platforms, the present and the future of radio.
The MNRA was established in 1997 to strengthen the historical and cultural links between Mediterranean countries, and to give the opportunity to the independent regulatory authorities from the Mediterranean area to exchange about the common challenges they face.
The Networks counts 27 member authorities representing 24 states and territories from the Mediterranean Basin. The Commission joined the MNRA as a member in 202.
This year, representatives of regulatory bodies from eighteen countries attended the conference in Yerevan.
