Armenian Deputy Defense Minister, U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Meet
Armenian Deputy Defense Minister Edward Asryan and U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Charles Brown, Jr. met today in Washington D.C. and discussed ongoing steps to “transform and reform” Armenia’s military.
Asryan, who also serves as Chief of the General Staff of Armenia’s Armed Forces, is in the U.S. on a working visit.
As chairman, Brown is the highest-ranking and most senior military officer in the United States Armed Forces and the principal military advisor to the president, the National Security Council, the Homeland Security Council, and the secretary of defense.
