Armenian Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan and German Ambassador to Armenia Claudia Busch, during their meeting today in Yerevan, discussed gender equality in Armenia and the role of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) to facilitate this and other sector reforms.

The two also discussed prospects to exchange practical experience in this direction and the Armenian government’s programs to assist Armenians forcibly displaced from Nagorno Karabakh.

Mkrtchyan, according to his office, emphasized that there is great potential for the development of relations between Germany and Armenia in the field of labor and social safeguards.
