Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan and newly appointed German Ambassador to Armenia Claudia Busch met in Yerevan today and discussed the current state of defense cooperation between Armenia and Germany as well as prospects for future cooperation.

Papikyan described the steps his government is taking to reform the country’s defense sector.

The sides also discussed regional security matters.
