Srbuhi Galyan has been appointed Armenia’s new Minister of Justice.

Galyan had been serving as the deputy coordinator of the Prosecutor General's office to confiscate illegally obtained property.

Grigor Minasyan resigned from the post as justice minister one month ago after two-dozen ruling party Civil Contract MPS circulated a petition demanding that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan fire him over what they described as lack of progress in reforms.
