Armenian, Swedish Foreign Ministers Discuss Prospects to Expand Cooperation
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and his Swedish counterpart Maria Stenergard met in Stockholm today and discussed prospects for enhancing high-level political dialogue and cooperation between their two countries.
The two ministers, according to Mirzoyan’s office, exchanged views on issues of regional security and stability.
Mirzoyan stressed that Armenia seeks a lasting peace in the South Caucasus by normalizing relations with neighbors and promoting economic development in the region
Mirzoyan also met with Swedish Minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade Benjamin Dousa and discussed opportunities for enhancing bilateral economic cooperation.
Mirzoyan also participated in a round-table discussion at the Stockholm Centre for Eastern European Studies and outlined the key priorities of Armenia’s foreign policy.
