Blinken, Fidan Again Discuss Peace in Gaza, South Caucasus
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan yet again discussed the importance of achieving a dignified and durable peace in the South Caucasus.
The latest telephone conversation on the matter was held on November 12.
The two, according to Blinken’s office, also discussed ongoing efforts to reach a diplomatic resolution that implements UNSCR 1701 and allows Lebanese and Israeli citizens to return to their homes.
Blinken again “stressed that it is time to end the conflict in Gaza, secure the release of hostages, increase humanitarian assistance, and establish a pathway for Palestinians in Gaza to rebuild their lives.”
Blinken and Fidan held a similar conversation on October 23.
