India Starts Exporting Pinaka Weapon Systems to Armenia

The Indian press today reports that the first batch of the Indian-manufactured Pinaka multi barrel rocket launcher systems has been delivered to Armenia.

Armenia and India signed a contract for the supply of rocket launchers in 2022.  At the time, the Indian side officially confirmed that Armenia had ordered three models of Pinaka rocket systems, which were to be transported from Delhi to Yerevan in the next two years.

The rocket launchers, with a maximum ranger of eighty kilometers, were developed by the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), an agency of the Indian Defence Ministry.

DNAIndiaNews today published a video on the story.

Armenia’s defense ministry has yet to comment on this news.
