Israel Raises Travel Threat Level for Armenia
Israel’s National Security Council (NSC) today raised its travel threat for Armenia from level 1 (no warning) to level 2 (potential threat).
The NSC notes the change is due to “the increased threat to Israelis/Jews in Armenia from terrorist elements.”
Level 2 recommends travelers “take increased precautionary measures,” but is not seen as a call to avoid or leave the country altogether.
