Yerevan: Thousands Witness Lighting of New Year's Tree

Thousands gathered in Yerevan’s Republic Square on December 9  to witness the lighting of the New Year’s tree. The event concluded with a fireworks display.

Kiosks were set up nearby where merrymakers could purchase holiday gifts.
