U.S. Names Armenian Justice Minister “Anti-Corruption Champion”
The U.S. Department of State marked December 9, International Anti-Corruption Day, by recognizing Armenian Minister of Justice Srbuhi Galyan as an “Anti-Corruption Champion”.
The United States launched the Anti-Corruption Champions Award in 2021 to recognize individuals who have taken remarkable steps to counter corruption, and to demonstrate U.S. solidarity with these individuals.
Galyan was appointed justice minister in November 2024.
