
Pashinyan in Moscow to Chair EAEU Intergovernmental Council Meeting
Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan arrived in Moscow today to chair the forty-first meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.
Armenia currently holds the rotating chairmanship of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU or EEU), an economic union of five post-Soviet states (Armenia, Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan).
The Eurasian Intergovernmental Economic Council consists of the heads of governments of member states of the organization
During the meeting the government heads will discuss steps to expand integration among the member states and will focus on the expansion of cooperation in the field of energy, industry and the development of e-commerce.
