
Armenia Signs 2025 Defense Cooperation Deal with Greece, Cyprus
Representatives from the defense ministries of Armenia, Greece and Cyprus met in Athens on December 19 and signed an overall defense cooperation plan for 2025 that includes key areas like troop training, military education, joint exercises, and advisory support.
Levon Ayvazyan, who heads the Defense Policy and International Cooperation Department at the Armenian Defense Ministry, highlighted the contribution of Armenia’s Greek and Cypriot partners in the training of various branches of the Armenia’s Armed Forces.
The parties emphasized the importance of holding regular defense consultations.
